The hand-painted Mae-Jah Munch wrap design

The Journey

Follow the build

The truck, the recipes, the late nights — built from the ground up. Here's where we're at.

What's next

Next stop: the wrap

She’s primed, she’s clean, and she’s nearly there. The last step is the one we’ve been waiting for: the full wrap.

Mortar and pestle, chillies, flowers and that hand-painted street-food look on a matte black body — bold, unmistakable, unmistakably ours. This is where she’s headed. Watch this space.

Real Flavour. Big Vibes. Feed the Streets.

Open for our first service

The build’s not finished — but the food doesn’t wait. We fired her up for our first proper service.

Fresh off the grill, real queues, real reactions. This is exactly why we started: good food, bringing people together. Plenty more to come.

Down to a blank canvas

Every bit of the old paint had to go. Hours of sanding, stripping and priming later, she’s a blank canvas.

For the first time you can really picture where this is going — clean lines, ready for the colour, ready to become the Mae-Jah Munch truck.

Sleeves up, deep clean

Before any of the nice stuff, there’s the graft. Deep clean, full strip-out, and a proper going-over inside and out.

Not glamorous — but this is how you build something that lasts. Every hour in the kit now is an hour you can taste in the food later.

Day one

Where it all started

Every journey starts somewhere. Ours started with a tired green burger van — old branding, rough around the edges, but solid where it counts. We saw the potential straight away.

No boardroom, no shortcuts. Just a van, a vision, and a family ready to build something real. This is day one.
